Introduction

Speed Baccarat by Pragmatic Play Live is mechanically identical to Pragmatic Play's standard Baccarat -- same eight-deck shoe, same Third Card Rule, same side bets, same RTP figures. The single differentiator is the betting window: 10 seconds to place wagers instead of the standard timer. Everything else -- rules, payouts, card counting applicability -- is the same.

The Speed Format

10-second betting window. The reduced betting time is the only structural difference from standard Pragmatic Play Baccarat. Rounds complete faster, meaning more hands per hour are possible within the same shoe. For card counters, this is a net positive -- more hands at a positive expected value count before the shoe resets.
Bet fast or miss the round. With only 10 seconds to place wagers, pre-deciding your bet type and size before the window opens is essential. Hesitation at the beginning of a positive-count window costs hands.
Third Card Rule: Player draws on 0-5, stands on 6-7, natural 8-9 ends the hand. Banker drawing conditions depend on the Banker total and the value of the Player third card if drawn. Both hands are fully automated.
Scorecards are not a strategy tool. Road maps display historical outcomes only. Each baccarat hand is near-independent of the last. Pattern-reading from scorecards has no predictive value for future outcomes.

Player Pair 11:1
Banker Pair 11:1
Either Pair 5:1
Perfect Pair 25:1

All pair types count for Player Pair and Banker Pair bets. Perfect Pair (same rank and suit) pays 25:1 independently. Player Pair, Banker Pair, Perfect Pair, and Either Pair are disabled after a set number of game rounds in the shoe -- check the in-game indicator for the current round count.

Bonus Bets

Player Bonus and Banker Bonus pay when the respective side wins with a natural 8 or 9, or wins by four or more points on a non-natural hand.

Card Counter Tool

The counting tool below works identically to standard Pragmatic Play Baccarat. The faster round pace means the shoe depletes at a higher rate -- monitor the remaining deck count and be ready to enter or exit the table quickly when the count crosses your threshold.

FAQ

How is Speed Baccarat different from standard Pragmatic Play Baccarat?
The only difference is the betting window: 10 seconds instead of the standard timer. Rules, payouts, RTP, and side bets are identical.
What is the best main bet?
As reported by Pragmatic Play, the Banker bet has the highest RTP at 98.94%.
Does the faster pace affect card counting?
More rounds per hour means faster shoe depletion -- but also more hands at favorable counts within a shoe. Pre-decide your bet before the window opens so you do not miss positive-count hands.
When are side bets disabled?
Player Pair, Banker Pair, Perfect Pair, and Either Pair are disabled after a set number of game rounds. Player Bonus and Banker Bonus have a separate cutoff. Check the in-game round indicator.
