Now onto the News, Rumors, and Commentary…
“Next:Trade up for Jameson Jones isn’t the same receiver he was a few years ago, but he has enough in the tank to contribute on a solid team. Jones seems like a dream player for the Patriot Way, and New England needs depth at the receiver position. Jones might not be able to carry a receiver room anymore, but he can still make a difference. Injuries have plagued Jones in recent seasons, but he is still a productive receiver when he gets on the field.”
“There are so many different situations that you can get yourself in. That’s the feeling I get from the atmosphere that Nick (Saban) has created at Alabama. They know what Alabama has to offer. That’s evident in what Coach Saban and Alabama has been able to do year-in-and-year-out even with all the different, very good coaches who have left.”
“”He told me that he was really interested in me,” Pringle said. “I just really like the coaches,” he said. “Coach Saban said in order for him to offer a guy he wants to see him in camp. “It was great,” Pringle said.”
“”Coach Saban talked a lot about how Alabama can develop me as a person, student and player,” Wayne said. “I also met with Coach Hutzler, Coach Cox and Coach Roach. Arnold told Wayne Alabama is hard work, but it’s all worth it in the end. Wayne said, “They loved it! They love the structure and how organized it always is.” Wayne said highlights of the visit included attended the Tide’s scrimmage and also spending time with several coaches.”
