“In past years Nike spread its Elite Youth Basketball League over several weekends in the spring, leading up to a weekend where they conducted the Nike Peach Jam during a live July evaluation period at the Riverview Park Activities Center. The University of Louisville basketball staff spent a lot of time this weekend in North Augusta, S.C., watching prospects at the Nike Peach Jam. So, Nike started the EYBL games last Tuesday and had seven days of pool play, including the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games being contested with college coaches in the building. U of L coach Chris Mack and assistant coach Mike Pegues spent all three days of the evaluation period at the Nike event, while assistant Kahil Fennell was there Saturday and Sunday.”
