“Harley and King would not be playing for Miami without the extra they received for the 2021 college football season. Miami will have other games against teams who have players using their extra season. Miami Hurricanes head coach Manny Diaz stated at the ACC Kickoff that he expects the amount of returning players to be one of the stories of the year in college football. I think with the senior class, the super senior class that we have, they can help not just transform Miami wins and losses this year but actually going forward.” King, Bolden and Harley will be three of the leaders for Miami in 2021.”

“- Manny Diaz updates the status of D’Eriq King. There have been only two instances in the last three seasons where a quarterback threw for 400 yards and ran for 100 yards in the same game — and King is responsible for both. The biggest reason for optimism with Miami in 2021 is due to the return of quarterback D’Eriq King. He also was the first Miami quarterback to have a 400-100 game and his 430 passing yards ranks eighth on UM’s single-game list.”
